These terms cover this website and the Setar waitlist. They are deliberately short, because right now the site does very little: it describes an app that has not launched and lets you leave an email address.
Who we are
Peacha is a solo project run by one person in British Columbia, Canada. It is not a registered company. You can reach us at hello@peacha.studio.
What these terms apply to
They apply to peacha.studio and to joining the waitlist. They do not apply to the Setar app, which has not been released. When the app launches it will come with its own terms, and downloading it will also put you under Apple's App Store terms.
The waitlist
- Use an email address you actually control. Do not sign up anyone else.
- We will email you once, when the app is available. That is the entire purpose of the list.
- You can be removed at any time by replying or emailing us. There is nothing to unsubscribe from beyond that one message.
- Joining the list is not a purchase, a reservation, or a promise of early access.
Nothing here is a promise to ship
The app is in development. Features described on this site may change, may be removed, or may never be built, and no launch date is guaranteed. Pricing, if any, is not settled. Please do not make plans or commitments that depend on the app arriving.
Using the site
Please do not:
- attack, overload or attempt to break into the site or the systems behind it;
- scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people;
- use it to send anything unlawful, or to impersonate someone else;
- copy the site wholesale and pass it off as your own.
What belongs to whom
The text, layout, code, the Setar and Peacha names, and the cat illustrations on this site belong to Peacha. You are welcome to link to the site, quote a line of it, or take a screenshot to talk about it. You may not republish it as your own or use the branding in a way that suggests we endorse you.
The typefaces are Baloo 2 and Nunito, used under the SIL Open Font License and licensed by their own authors, not by us.
The site is provided as it is
We try to keep the site accurate and online, but we do not guarantee either. It is offered without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Peacha is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from the app not launching. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, such as fraud.
Links to other sites
Where we link outward — to Google's privacy policy, or to the App Store when the app exists — those sites have their own terms and we are not responsible for their content.
Changes
These terms may change, most likely when the app launches. The date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of British Columbia.
