Privacy Policy

Short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and tracks nobody. The only personal information we ever hold is an email address, and only if you choose to send us one.
Who we are
Peacha is a solo project run by one person in British Columbia, Canada. It is not a registered company. This policy covers the website at peacha.studio.

What this policy does not cover yet
The Setar app has not been released. When it launches it will have its own privacy policy describing what the app does on your device, and that policy will be published here before the app is available to download. Nothing on this page should be read as a description of the app's behaviour.
What we collect
Your email address, if you give it to us
The waitlist form currently opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press send, and if you close the draft we never see it. If you do send it, we hold your address for one purpose: to email you once, when the app is available. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not send anything else.
Standard server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary request logs. These typically include your IP address, browser type and the page requested. They exist so the site can be kept online and defended against abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not try to identify individual visitors.
Google Fonts
The page loads two typefaces from Google's servers. That means your IP address and basic browser information are sent to Google every time you open the site, before we have any say in it. This is how the fonts are delivered; it is not something we use for tracking. Google's handling of that request is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
- No cookies. The site sets none at all.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, nothing counting visits.
- No advertising or social pixels. No Meta pixel, no conversion tracking.
- No browser storage. Nothing is written to localStorage or sessionStorage.
- No profiling, no behavioural targeting, no data brokers.
- We never sell, rent or trade your email address, and we never pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep things
Email addresses are deleted once the launch email has been sent, or sooner if you ask. Server logs are retained by Cloudflare under their own schedule, which is short and measured in days rather than years.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@peacha.studio and we will act on it. There is no form to fill in and no account to log into.
Depending on where you live, these rights may also be protected by law — PIPEDA in Canada, the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California. We apply the same simple approach to everyone regardless of where you are: ask, and it is deleted.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their email address, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because we hold so little, meaningful changes are most likely to happen when the app launches, and those will be described plainly rather than buried.
